  Valid Passport: Since we cross the border into Austria for lunch or sightseeing, all guests must carry a valid passport or EU ID card., Sturdy Footwear: Visiting Neuschwanstein involves a 20–30 minute uphill walk (on paved paths). Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers are highly recommended., Layered Clothing: Alpine weather changes quickly! Even in summer, a light jacket or sweater is useful for higher altitudes or castle interiors., Health & Mobility: The castles involve many stairs and significant walking. If anyone in your group has mobility concerns, please let us know in advance so we can arrange for the shuttle bus or horse-drawn carriage (subject to availability).
