Booking information

  • Meeting point

Please arrive 20 minutes before the listed starting time of your trip to receive all necessary equipment.

  • Requirements

Children under the age of 14 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian., We would caution RIB tours for the following groups: 1) Persons with severe pre-existing neck or back conditions. 2) Pregnant women beyond their first trimester. 3) Individuals diagnosed with osteoporosis or other conditions that result in brittle bones. The hike requires a moderate level of fitness. You will climb 4,444 wooden steps—ascending about 750 meters—before following a marked mountain trail back down. The route is steep in parts and can be demanding, so please consider your stamina before booking.

  • What to bring

Remember to dress appropriately for the weather conditions on the day of your tour. We would recommend you bring hiking shoes, wind/rain stopper pants, a wind/rain jacket, a woolen inner layer top and bottom, a knitted hat, and a pair of gloves. You should also pack a small backpack with about two liters of water and your food for the day. A sitting pad is also smart to bring along, and don’t forget your camera of course. You will receive all necessary protective equipment for the RIB tour, but we would advise you to also bring along a buff or neck-gaiter on colder days.

  • Refund policy

You’ll get a full refund or credit if you cancel at least 24 hours before your tour. If we have to cancel due to weather or other unexpected reasons, you’ll also get a full refund or credit. If you're arriving by cruise ship and your ship doesn't dock as planned, we’ll refund you in full—even if it's less than 24 hours before the tour. Refunds available within 24 hours before departure.
