On the tour we use back-country skis that are longer and wider than normal cross-country skis. These skis carry you better on the deep and soft snow. Skiing on back-country skis is easy if you have some skiing experience, and it is usually easier for beginners than skiing with cross-country skis.

Along the tour we choose our way freely in the forests and fells. When we are outside the marked trails we are more likely to see some local wildlife such as birds, rabits, and reindeer.

Along the way, we take a break at a fire place to enjoy sausages, coffee, and tea.
