## About:
A brilliant taster trip as part of a Family Day Out in The Southern Lake District. Meeting at the beautiful Fell Foot Park, you can be thrilled by Grade 2-3 rapids, which are awesome fun!
We’ll play fun games on the tranquil water (brilliant for the whole family – warning – Parents or Guardians may get wet 😉 ) before experiencing the White Water Fun of the rapids!
We will pass idyllic Lake District Cottages and stunning countryside, whilst enjoying the White Water. Great fun, whatever the weather – particularly if it’s raining!
This trip is great introduction to the White Water World. It lasts for approximately two hours, with around an hour of that on the river. The rest of the time includes being given the kit, getting changed, a safety briefing and coming back to the start.
This is a seasonal trip which is available from August to April and is water dependent. From Age 8 upwards, this is perfect for anyone who wants a taste of adventure, in an amazing setting.
# Our tours and activities:
At Lake District White Water Rafting we specialise in fun, outdoor, adventure activities that the whole family can enjoy.
You’ll all work together, just like a Viking Family, to get the down the river! We like to play games along the way, and also award special prizes to those who spot any wildlife… will you see any of the wild salmon, the birds of prey, or the red squirrels on your trip?
Lake District White Water Rafting is:
• An Awesome Family Day Out – Rain Or Shine!
• A Brilliant Bonding Exercise
• A Great Way To Make Special Memories
Our White-Water Rafting trips are on natural rivers, so each trip can be different!
# What to bring:
a. Swimwear & Towel
b. Personal Medication (any which could be required)
c. A Go-Pro (or any equivalent) – these cannot be mounted on helmets so must be worn on a chest harness. Please bring your own body harness if you wish to wear a Go-Pro
