**Duration:** 3h
The walk begins from the port of Marina Grande by taking the historic funicular railway that leads to the famous Piazzetta of Capri (which can also be reached on request on foot via a pleasant flight of steps from behind the harbor fountain).
From here begins our walk through the island's less touristy streets, penetrating into the heart of the Mediterranean maquis, with glimpses of breathtaking views, the incredible blue of the sea, the Natural Arch, the Grotta di Matermania, the Faraglioni, until we reach the belvedere of Punta Tragara. After this stage, we return to the Piazzetta along Via Cammarelle, and offer participants free time. The excursion concludes with a descent to the port of Marina Grande.
For history buffs, an excursion to Villa Jovis, the Roman villa of Emperor Tiberius, offers panoramic views of the coast and the island of Ischia. The trail to the villa can be a bit challenging, but the history and views make up for the efforts.
Sentiero dei Fortini: This trail connects the Piazzetta of Capri to the Punta Carena Lighthouse, offering panoramic views and passing through ancient military forts. It is an option that combines the island's natural beauty with its history.
Gardens of Augustus: Hikers can visit the Gardens of Augustus, a charming garden complex with panoramic views of the Charterhouse of San Giacomo and the bay of Marina Piccola. The path through the gardens offers a peaceful and relaxing experience.
